From my experience working both in Parliament and in public affairs, I've become increasingly convinced of the real disconnect between Westminster and the public who put their representatives there.  It's a disturbing trend because the relationships and accountability between electorate and electors are crucial to the ultimate creation and success of good policy decisions for the country.

 

My hope is that this website will be informative about the actual legislation and inner workings of Westminster, as well as providing some of my own political reflections on current events. The Policy Lab also aims to provide a space for the creation of sound and innovative ideas - contact me if you are interested in being featured!

Finally, a word about who this website is dedicated to. Victoria was one of the strongest women I have ever met, enduring great physical pain with true courage. She believed in a vision for a better kind of politics and I carry that with me.
